Condition

The belt is slightly wrinkled. There are some small scratches on the glass surface. The exterior has been refinished. There are some minor scratches that are not noticeable overall, but the condition is very good.

The Oyster Perpetual Date is a direct descendant of the original Oyster, the world's first waterproof wristwatch, released in 1926, and features the addition of a date display to the automatic Oyster Perpetual. This "Ref. 69173" is a model manufactured between 1987 and 1998, before it was sold as the 26mm Datejust. Because it was not yet certified as a C.O.S.C. chronometer, the dial read "DATE" rather than "DATEJUST." It features a champagne gold dial with a linen pattern. It has been overhauled in our shop.
