Gibson Custom Shop 1964 ES-335 Reissue Grovers Sixties Cherry VOS 2025 USED
Description
Very Good Condition!! w/hard case
This is a reissue model by the Gibson Custom Shop that meticulously recreates the 1964 specifications.
Features include a center block with a side window that opens wide toward the rear pickup, ABR-1 nylon saddles, a short pickguard, and small block inlays.
The slightly soft attack characteristic of nylon saddles and the dense midrange with airiness provided by the center block design are truly the "64 sound."
It's different from the thick neck of 1959.
It's also different from the specification changes made after 1965.
The neck is slim yet solid, striking a perfect balance between vintage feel and playability.
If you're looking for an ES-335 but haven't yet had a memorable encounter, this is a guitar you should definitely pick up.
