Authentic early 20th century surgical instrument manufactured by F.A. Hardy & Co, marked with patent date August 18, 1903 and stamped number 6637.

This adjustable retractor / mouth gag was used in early ENT and oral surgical procedures. Constructed of nickel-plated steel with intact moving mechanism.


Condition: Light age-related oxidation and surface wear consistent with over 120 years of age. Mechanically functional and structurally solid.
