VINTAGE THORENS TD 160 MKII TURNTABLE. Fully working and in very good condition. This is a lovely turntable. Comes in original box with original packaging and manual! Overall condition: Only a couple of slight marks (please see pics). All mechanisms are fully working. Lid condition: The perspex lid is in pretty goodshape. Both of the hinges for the lid have snapped off at some point, but this has not damaged the lid or turntable, only the hinges themselves. I have included a picture of one of teh snapped hinges. The lid has a few light marks, and also a couple of larger marks. Please take a good look at all pictures. This item will be posted in its original box, with the original polystyrene packing. The Thorens TD 160 MkII is a highly regarded suspended belt-drive turntable from the late 1970s, featuring a 16-pole synchronous motor, a 7.5g effective mass TP-16 Mk II/III "Isotrack" tonearm, and a heavy-duty chassis. Known for exceptional build quality, this manual player is praised for low wow, flutter, and rumble, making it a competitive vintage choice over many modern, more expensive models.
