I have original spare parts, necessary tools and devices, both purchased and special ones, which were provided by factories for warranty and post-warranty repairs in the USSR.
Of course, I have technical documentation for repairing Soviet equipment, although I have no need to use it, since I have been working in the service since 1986.
The specifics of Soviet (and not only) equipment of this age do not exclude problems after repair.

An early version, more reliable.
The camera hasn't been used very much, so the mechanism isn't worn out.
However, almost 70 years of equipment is a 100% necessity for service.
As shown in the last few photos, it was quite complete.
The extremely low-tech design requires disassembly, even to clean the rangefinder.
During this process, the shutter was lubricated, the self-timer was serviced, the helicoid was lubricated, and the internals were cleaned of film perforation particles.
The camera is fully functional; even the exposure meter shows approximately the light level.
The lens glass is visually free of scratches and abrasions, with microscopic traces of fungus along the edges of the first glass.
The fungus itself has been removed; it is an imprint on the coating, harmless and does not affect the optical performance.
