Item Description:

This auction is for an old metal whiskey flask that was recently purchased from a local estate. It measures 6.2" x 2.75" and it is a little less than an inch thick. One side is crudely engraved with TM Hewitt '88 (which should be for the year 1888) and the other side has Weyanoke, VA. Weyanoke is a plantation farmstead in Charles City, Virginia. I do not see any makers markings on the piece. This piece is silver plated. The piece shows moderate wear with some dings and scratches and some tarnish.
