This is a mid-century reproduction of the Japanese woodblock print titled "Ikushima Shingorö as Chihara Sakon, Ichikawa Danjürö II as Ukishima Danjö, and Kirinami Takie as Hyogo's wife, Iwakia Japanese ukiyo-e artwork from the early 18th century.  The artist is Torii Kiyonobu I.  The original woodblock was created in 1711 during the Edo period.  The print depicts three Kabuki actors (Ikushima Shingorö, Ichikawa Danjürö II, and Kirinami Takie) in a dramatic pose, representing a scene from a theatrical performance during Japan's Edo period, a common subject for Torii school artists of the period.

Reproduction prints such as this were commonly sold to tourists in Japan during the mid twentieth century.

The print itself meaures approximately 10 1/2 inches (10.5") in height and 5 1/4 inches (5.25") in width.  With the mat the measurement is 14 inches (14") in height and 10 inches (10") in width.

This vintage mid-century reproduction print is in excellent vintage condition.  You can see from the photos that the original mat shows some creasing and discoloration due to age.  The mat has also been cut (likely removing the title and/or information about the piece).  The print itself is in excellent vintage condition with no notable flaws observed.  Please view photos carefully for best representation of the condition this item.
