The lens mounts smoothly onto the camera and communicates all information correctly.

The focusing ring is very smooth and easy to operate. 

Auto and manual focus is fully operational and smooth from infinity through to close focus. 

The lens exposes correctly through the F stop range.

The selection switches move easily into position and without any resistance.

Optics Condition - Excellent

The lens coating is in excellent condition and reduces ghost and flare issues.


The optics are clean and the lens is pin sharp.  There are no exterior marks / scratches on the glass, nor any fungus / growth within the inner elements

Offering a life-size 1:1 maximum magnification and a 5.1" minimum focusing distance, this lens further distinguishes itself with an integrated Macro Lite LED on the front of the lens to provide additional illumination to close-up subjects. Aiding its ability to reproduce small subjects at life size, the optical design incorporates one aspherical element to reduce spherical aberrations in order to provide a high degree of sharpness and clarity.
