This shock features Remote In (RI) configuration, meaning it's designed for in-pull remote lockout systems. Compatible with RockShox TwistLoc and OneLoc remotes that use an in-pull cable routing. This allows you to lock out the shock from your handlebars for maximum climbing efficiency, then open it back up for descents - all without taking your hands off the bars.
Trunnion mounting is the modern standard for XC and trail bikes. Instead of traditional eyelets at both ends, trunnion shocks use a wider mounting interface at one or both ends.
