8 inch long cast iron wind-up loco is the largest of Ives wind-ups, also has the strongest spring motor, made early to mid 1920’s. No key included, but a Lionel Jr key or standard clock key will work on the square shaft. Diecast wheels have faded red spokes, they show fatigue cracks, but look complete, are missing the drive rods. Casting is complete with nothing broken or missing, has wear, overpainting and light corrosion, so a good candidate to restore. Motor winds and loco ran across the floor when tested. Brake lever works, but needs some straightening. This will be an impressive early loco when you restore it. Loco only, no tender in listing.
