This is a premium Gauge 1 (45mm) model of the JNR Suha 43 Passenger Coach, meticulously crafted by Aster Hobby, Japan. This brass model features an interior lighting system. However, please note that the power supply unit (battery holder) is original and shows signs of aging.

Technical Note on Lighting: The model includes internal wiring and a battery holder for the interior lights. Due to its age, the battery holder and wiring may need replacement or repair to function reliably. It is being sold "as-is" regarding the lighting electronics.

The JNR Suha 43 series was widely used in ordinary, express, and long-distance passenger trains throughout Japan. Historically, these coaches were hauled by many well-known JNR locomotives, including the D51, C57, C58, C62, EF58, and DD51, depending on the route and period.

This Gauge 1 coach is therefore an excellent companion for ASTER JNR locomotives, particularly the ASTER D51, C57, C62, C12, and EF58.

Condition:

• Body: Vintage condition with some surface scratches on the roof and body (see photos).

• Electronics: Internal light power unit is old and requires maintenance/replacement.

• Box: Original blue box is included but has significant wear, tape residue, and tearing.
