This piece is a vintage mahogany occasional table  produced by the Imperial Furniture Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Imperial was a well-regarded manufacturer operating from 1903 to around 1954, famous for high-quality tables (often called the "world’s greatest table makers" in their era), especially in mahogany. They specialized in reproductions and interpretations of classic American and English styles, including Duncan Phyfe, Federal, Georgian, and Chippendale influences.

Key Style and Design Features:

Overall style — It's a revival piece drawing heavily from Federal/Neoclassical or Duncan Phyfe influences (popular in early 20th-century American furniture), with elements of Georgian elegance. The design emphasizes symmetry, refined carving, and graceful proportions typical of Grand Rapids factory reproductions from the 1920s–1950s.

Top — Rectangular with a framed, inset glass surface (protected display area, often for collectibles or as a serving surface). The wooden frame has a molded, slightly raised edge with a rich, warm mahogany finish showing classic grain and patina.

Base/Pedestal — Single central turned pedestal (urn- or vase-shaped) with detailed carved acanthus leaves (or feather-like foliage motifs) on the bowl and upper section—very characteristic of Imperial's decorative work.

Legs — Tripod (three-legged) base with outward-sweeping, cabriole-like legs featuring carved leaf or feather details along their length, terminating in unusual silver claw-and-ball feet (or paw feet). This adds stability and a luxurious, antique-inspired touch.

Materials and construction — Solid and/or veneered mahogany (Imperial's signature wood), with high craftsmanship—hand-carved details, polished finish, and sturdy joinery typical of mid-20th-century American furniture from Grand Rapids, the historic "Furniture City."

This style was popular for living rooms or formal settings, blending traditional elegance with practical display function (the glass top).

This table is solid and ready to be loved some more. The only part on it that has some wear is where the tray contacts the table, it does not affect function at all. See pics
