A striking example of Chinese export cloisonné craftsmanship, dating to the mid-to-late 20th century. Unlike standard cloisonné which uses a solid color background, this piece features a dazzling "Gold Ground" where the background is filled with intricate brass wire filigree and gold leaf.
The main design features vibrant pink and white lotus and peony blossoms with green scrolling vines. The neck and foot are bordered with a traditional Ruyi (cloud head) pattern in pastel colors.
Measurements: Approximately 7 inches tall with a 5-inch top opening diameter.
Condition: Vintage condition.
Exterior: The enamel and gold wirework are bright and vibrant.
Interior: The blue counter-enamel interior shows some pitting or white spots, which is common for this type of export ware.
Structure: No dents or major damage observed.
