Costal Waterscape with Waves–Charlotte Hoffman–Watercolor–Medium Size-Mid-20^th American Art

This is an original mid-20th-century watercolor on paper by Charlotte Hoffman, a regional artist who lived and worked in New Rochelle, New York during the 1950s–1960s. This work comes from a folder containing a collection of her paintings from that period. Although little biographical information survives about Hoffman today, many works in the group retain original gallery price tags and matting remnants, suggesting she actively exhibited and sold in local New York galleries.

The painting is in good condition. The edges and corners show minor wear and handling marks. The verso has tape marks from previous mounting. The paper shows light toning consistent with age.
