  • Air Fuel Ratio Oxygen Sensor O2 02 For 2003-2007 Honda Accord 2.4L Upstream

    Description:
The oxygen sensor is used to control the air intake, fuel supply, injector, electronic control unit, control sensor, catalytic converter, exhaust gas, diagnostic sensor and other circuits.

    Applicable Model:

    2003-2007 Honda Accord 2.4L

    Note:

The male and female plugs, the inside of the plug, and the plugs of the air-fuel ratio sensor and the heated oxygen sensor are all different. Please select the appropriate product or contact the merchant before purchasing.

    Key features:
    1. The stainless steel body is welded by double lasers to prevent contamination
    2.  Pre-coated thread with anti-seize agent in the box
    3.  OE connector and wiring harness that can be directly installed
    4.  The protection tube is 100% functional and quality tested

    location information:
    1. The upstream oxygen sensor is also called sensor 1, or pre-cat, or upper oxygen sensor, located on the left or right before the catalytic converter
    2. The downstream oxygen sensor is also called sensor 2, or post-cat, or lower oxygen sensor, located on the left or right after the catalytic converter

    Installation method:
Step 1: Remove all the mounting bolts of the heat shield on the sensor.
Step 2: Use a regular socket to avoid peeling off the old sensor during disassembly.
Step 3: Find and disconnect the wiring connector (Note: If the wiring is not disconnected, complete the disconnection before removing the sensor.)
Step 4: It is very important that the wiring harness connectors are exactly the same, the position of each sensor cannot be mistaken, and it is located in the system through its connector configuration. (Note: Some replacement sensors have a general electrical connector, which must be configured to the wiring of the old sensor.)
Step 5: Clean the threaded port with a small wire brush to seal the new sensor properly. When installing a new oxygen sensor, ensure that the wiring and connector are not bent.
Step 6: Tighten the sensor gently to keep the sensor very fit and the wiring not damaged.
Step 7: After tightening the sensor, install all heat shields or supports that must be removed.
Step 8: After reinstalling the heat shield, install the connector on its bracket and reconnect the connector to the wiring harness. If the car has diagnostic trouble codes, clear them in time.

How to distinguish the quality of oxygen sensor:
    1. Observe the engine light
    2. Observe whether the fuel performance is reduced
    3. Observe whether the catalytic converter is malfunctioning
    4. Observe whether the exhaust emission reaches a bad level

    Purchase attention:
Please read the following instructions and guidance reference information carefully.
    1. If the check engine light is on or OBDII fault/fault code appears after installation, please use a voltmeter to check the sensor. If the sensor is good, further diagnosis is required. The codes caused by specific functional failures are different, and they are not necessarily related to the sensor.
    2. The manufacturer’s warranty prerequisite: Defective sensor after voltmeter test.
    3. If the buyer does not pay attention to the decoration information and buys the wrong product, and requires a return or exchange, a 20% purchase fee will be charged. The price, quality and functionality of the O2 sensor are within the scope of the warranty and return policy. But it does not include any labor costs, dealer store fees, or damage due to incorrect installation.
    4. Items that have been installed, changed or contaminated are not refundable.
