About This Model

The Filmo Sportster was one of Bell & Howell’s early consumer 8mm movie cameras. It uses the “Double Run Eight” system, where 16mm film was run through twice to create standard 8mm film after processing. These cameras are sought after by collectors, vintage filmmaking enthusiasts, and display decorators.

A beautiful example of pre-war American craftsmanship.
