Features a traditional red and black floral and symbolic print on white cotton — a classic Ukrainian color scheme.
Originally intended for wedding ceremonies (as a bread towel under korovai), but also perfect as a table runner, altar cloth, or cultural home décor.
Still has its original paper tag attached. Carefully stored in a closet and never used.

This rushnyk was originally purchased in 1991 from a specialized wedding store in Ukraine, where complete sets for traditional Ukrainian weddings were sold.
At the time, it was common for a wedding set to include two rushnyky — one for the bride's family, and one for the groom's.
In this particular wedding, only one rushnyk was used, and this second one was carefully preserved in the family home in Romny (Ukraine).
It has remained in storage ever since — clean, unused, and still with its original paper tag — a rare find in such condition.

Authentischer ukrainischer Rushnyk (rituelles Handtuch) aus dem Jahr 1991, hergestellt von der Galanteriefabrik Zubr in Tschernihiw (Ukraine).
Traditionelles Design in Rot und Schwarz auf weißem Baumwollstoff mit floral-symbolischem Muster – typisch für ukrainische Volkskunst.
Ursprünglich verwendet bei Hochzeitszeremonien (z. B. als Brottuch unter dem Korowai), heute auch ideal als Tischläufer, Altartextil oder folkloristische Heimdekoration.
Der Original-Papieranhänger ist noch vorhanden. Das Textil wurde unbenutzt im Schrank aufbewahrt – Stoff ist sauber, frisch und in hervorragendem Zustand.

Dieser Rushnyk wurde ursprünglich 1991 in einem speziellen Hochzeitsshop in der Ukraine gekauft, in dem komplette Sets für traditionelle ukrainische Hochzeiten erhältlich waren.
Damals war es üblich, dass das Hochzeitsset zwei Rushnyky enthielt – einen für die Familie der Braut und einen für die Familie des Bräutigams.
Bei dieser Hochzeit wurde jedoch nur ein Rushnyk verwendet, und der zweite blieb ungenutzt.
Er wurde sorgfältig in der Familienwohnung in Romny (Ukraine) aufbewahrt – sauber, unbenutzt und noch mit dem originalen Papieretikett.
Ein seltenes Stück in einem so gut erhaltenen Zustand.
