You are purchasing two (2) fresh, healthy pads of the Opuntia Prickly Pear cactus. This specific variety is "near-spineless," meaning the majority of the pad is smooth, but some small spines or glochids (tiny bristles) may be present.

Important Note on Spines:

While this variety is much easier to handle than standard prickly pears, it is not 100% spineless. About 80% of the surface is smooth, but we recommend using tongs or gloves when handling just to be safe!
