A charming set of seven vintage mid-century souvenir handkerchiefs featuring the lively Spanish Rumba tune La Cucaracha, with colorful dancers, musicians and festive fiesta motif.
Each handkerchief is made of fine lightweight cotton with hand rolled edges and retains the original gold foil Hand Rolled in Spain label. These colorful novelty hankies date to approximately the 1940s–1960s and measure about 10½ inches square.
These were acquired from the estate of a former textile importer and remained in storage since the mid-20th century.
Originally sold as Spanish travel souvenirs, these whimsical textile prints are now popular with collectors as well as for crafting, framing, quilting, shadowboxes, themed décor or fiesta party accents.
New Old Stock (NOS) vintage condition. These handkerchiefs were part of an unsold mid-century import inventory and have been stored for decades. They appear unused and unlaundered, retaining crisp fabric and original gold foil labels present. Light storage creasing may be present from long-term storage and a gentle pressing or steaming would restore their full presentation.
You will receive seven matching handkerchiefs as shown.

We got wonderful results and the best part... it was great fun!"
