This is a gorgeous "St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands)" hand-carved souvenir wooden music box. Measures 5.75" long by 4" wide by 2" tall.

Overall, the box is rendered in shades of sea green and pale blue with a nautical wave design around the lower edge. The lid bears a map graphic of Saint Thomas Island (part of the U.S. Virgin Islands) and is finished with a glossy lacquer (see photos). When flipped open, the box will play the song Yellow Bird.

This item has been tested and plays beautifully.

Originally made by hand in Italy by the Anri music box company, this musical keepsake was offered as a souvenir on St. Thomas Island.
