This demitasse cup and saucer have a double gold border at the top and bottom of the cup and on the rim of the saucer. It features large pink roses decorating the rim of the cup and saucer. There is a gold design on the inside of the cup which is repeated around the center of the saucer. It was manufactured by Haviland and Co for J. E. Caldwell & co. The backmark dates it to 1888 to 1896. There is a small rim chip on the cup.
