This is a red Emile Henry Cocotte Ceramic Stew Pot Dutch Oven with original manual--pot holds approximately 4.2 quarts (4 liters) when filled to the rim. The exterior of the stewpot measures approximately 4.5" tall and is 10.25" in diameter across the top opening. Appears unused but I cannot say for sure as I am not the original owner--there are stray imperfections (raised flecks) and irregularities (underside of lid, photo #10, and underside of handle, photo #20)...I do see some crazing to the glaze on the interior of the pot when the pot is held in bright light (photos #14 and close-up #15). Additionally, there are darkened scuffs to the unglazed ivory-colored heat ring on the underside of pot and rim on underside of lid.
