This is a Grundfos 15-58FC water lubricated stainless circulating pump. The motor portion exposed to the liquid lubricating the pump motor is stainless however the volute or the body of the pump is cast iron (F). Do not use this pump in an application where the pumping medium contains air as in fresh water or domestic water. This should only be used in a closed system where the air is scrubbed out of the liquid or the pump will seize over time from rust accumulated in the volute or liquid.
This pump is a model supplied with Lochinvar boilers. It will operate the same as any other 15-58. There are three speeds. We recommend going to the Grundfos website to verify if this is compatible with your application. This is a new pump. I opened the box for pictures. It includes 1" fip iron flanges , gaskets and instructions. Some may be red.
