Two Working Modes (Smoke Mode & Air Mode):
 When you opt for the air mode, the flow meter helps you swiftly confirm if there's a leak.  After that, switch to the smoke mode to pinpoint exactly where the leak is happening.  This significantly boosts diagnostic efficiency and prevents the wastage of a large amount of smoke fluid, saving costs. 
 
 
Leak Status Indication
NO Leak: When the value of the pressure gauge remains unchanged and the flow meter will read zero (ball at bottom of scale), it means that there is no leakage in the system.
Small Leak: When the value of the pressure gauge drops and the ball in the flow meter slowly fall to the bottom of the scale, it indicates a small leak in the system.
Massive Leak: When the value of the pressure gauge reaches zero and the flow meter ball never falls to the bottom of the scale, it indicates a large leak in the system.

The smoke detector is equipped with the latest intelligent protection devices. When the temperature of the equipment exceeds 75 degrees Celsius, the power protection device will intelligently start and shut down to ensure the safety of the operator and equipment. If the device operates continuously for more than 15 minutes, it will be protected from overheating for a protection time greater than 10 minutes. This device is also suitable for low-temperature operation. Only car batteries with a full capacity of 12V are supported.		Built-in Air Pump:

How To Use It?

1. Inject 10ml-20ml of test oil into the smoke leak detector, filling 20ML of test fluid, under standard working conditions, can be used continuously for about 10 minutes; (about Smoke Oil: advise use the Baby oil)
2. Open the pipe that needs to be connected with the leak detector.
3. Install the airbag adapter into the sealed pipe and connect the device to the smoke conduit.
4. Connect the leak detector to the DC12V battery and the device will start working. NOTE: red clamp tp positive(+), and black clamp to negative(-)
5. The pipe will be filled with smoke and the leakage point will be checked.
6. Test the leaking pipeline, under the premise of sealing accurately, generally about 1 minute can be filled with smoke, if there is a leak, within 3 minutes, you can observe the results.

 

Caution:
1. When you use this Foxwell SD203 Car Smoke Leak Detector for the first time, fill with 10-20ml baby oil. Please be careful NOT to beyond this range.
 2. Fresh oil can be filled with only when the smoke gets thin, and it can't be filled over 20ml each time.
 3 . Before filling fresh oil, please pour out the left oil in the detector & replace the detector oil regularly.
 4. During the process of leak detection, please keep away from smoke-sensitive parts.
5. Do NOT run the detector over 8 minutes continuously. It needs interval rest.
 6. The detector has an intelligent protector, if it exceeds the working limit, such as over 75 ℃, it will automatically turn off the power. In this case, please operate it later.
 7. The round part of this detector has temperature, please be careful to avoid burns.
 8.  If the test pipe needs to be disconnected in the middle, please sE~Ure the other side with a rubber stopple.
