Case material: leather, silver guild, leather strap wraps and wood.

Blade appears to be a Damascus steel because it shows some sign of small rust spots, but they appear to come off when cleaned. 

partially cleaned but did not want to affect the original integrity.

Handle: wooded with possible steel rivets, as shown. one side/backside of handle has a sharp particle sticking out, not sure if there was originally something attached. see the close-up pictures shown. 

Origin and original date of knife unknow. original owner is deceased but was retired military officer.
