Lionel's 6460 Operating Bucyrus Erie Work Crane had 3 variations. This is variation B, produced early 1954. It is identified by The Lionel Lines logo not being in bold font and “WT-375,000 2 18 NH” containing only one hyphen. The 6460 is an update to the 2460 which had been produced until 1950.

Die cast chassis. The working crane arm can be hoisted with manual crank wheel on back. The hook rope can be extended and retracted by the crank wheel on the side. Cranks are undamaged and hoist mechanism works. There is minor paint chipping on top of the train where the wire rubbed. Four wheel, bar ended trucks with magnetic knuckle coupler, untested.

Includes original red/orange box with no window, some tearing on flaps.

Only the crane mechanism has been tested, the rest of the train is only visually checked. Sold AS IS.
