This round serving bowl is in the Bird of Paradise pattern by Bawo & Dotter of New York. They started a porcelain decorating company in Limoges, France in 1860 called The Elite Works, and in 1896 they began manufacturing their own porcelain. This bowl has the two marks on the base, indicating it was both made and decorated by the Bawo & Dotter Elite Works factory. These particular marks were used between 1920 and 1932.
The bowl measures approximately 9 1/2" in diameter and 2" in height. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is some surface wear. Please see my pictures and thank you for viewing my listing!
I'll be offering other pieces in this pattern in my ebay store :)
Fragile items are packaged securely and with great care.
