Pre-Columbian Maya green stone pendant from the Classic period, dating approximately to 250–800 AD. This finely carved miniature sculpture presents a stylized human visage with gently slanted eyes, a softly modeled nose, and a subtle, contemplative smile. The face is framed by a squared outline, giving the pendant a powerful yet intimate presence despite its small scale.

The stone displays a rich range of green to brownish-green tones with natural mineral accretions and burial patina that testify to its great age. The surface shows ancient wear consistent with centuries underground, with no evidence of modern restoration or surface enhancement. The carving remains crisp and expressive, preserving the artist’s original intent.

Measuring approximately 3/4 inch by 7/8 inch, this pendant is in choice condition and structurally sound. Its compact size and refined workmanship suggest it was worn as a personal ornament or amuletic object, likely imbued with symbolic or spiritual meaning within Maya culture.
