This is a really interesting course in cartooning by famous cartoonist Charles Kuhn, also known as Doc Kuhn, who wrote the cartoon Grandma. He published cartooning books in the '30s and '40s. I'm not sure of the exact decade that this was created, but most likely it was the 1940s. He had one course that was 20 issues along. This one is much longer.
It was considered to be a full year course with 52 lessons. Unfortunately numbers 13 and 14 are missing. So there are only 50 sheets with instructions rather than 52. Two are missing. Other than that they are in very good condition. It looks like they were meant to be folded and mailed for a mail order course. However these are completely unused, they were never folded or addressed or mailed. It looks like they were just stored away for many years.
They have some yellowing due to age. The very top one, lesson number one is a slightly darker yellow because it was on top of the pile.
