To ensure you enjoy the perfect coffee, and prolong the life of your machine, it's vital you clean your appliance on a regular basis. After every use, coffee grease and oil deposits remain on the insides and can interfere with the taste and affect the function of your machine. HOW TO USE IT: Fully automatic machines with automatic cleaning programme: Please follow the manufacturer's instructions. Fully automatic machines with powder compartment: 1. Start the brewing process with a tab in the powder coffee compartment and switch the device off for 8 minutes after half a cup of water. Switch it on again and end the run. 2. Repeat this 3 times without a tab. 3. Remove the brew group and rinse well. 4. Finally, let 2 cups of water run through before use. Fully automatic machines without powder compartment: 1. Remove the brewing group and rinse thoroughly with warm water using a sponge/brush and let it dry. 2. Completely dissolve the tab in warm water and let it run through in the water tank according to the manufacturer's instructions. Traditional Espresso machines: 1. Clamp the portafilter with a tab in a blind filter into the brew group. 2. Press the brew lever (or switch) for 10 seconds. Repeat the process 5 times. 3. Remove the portafilter, clean the brewing group with a suitable brush. 4. Clamp portafilter with blind filter in the brewing group, rinse 10 times for 5 seconds with water. 5. Wash the coffee filter thoroughly and let it dry. Pod- and Capsule machines: Completely dissolve the tab in warm water and let it run through in the water tank according to the manufacturer's instructions.
