Selling my Grand Seiko SBGA285 which I’ve owned for around 3 years. It has been serviced in 2022, so wouldn’t need a service for at least 10 years. The Spring Drive is quite resilient, so requires less maintenance due to lesser friction than standard automatic movements. Went through EBay Authentication when I bought, which I’ll include with the box. Missing the Guarantee card, but all other papers are included.

Rare 39mm which fits so perfectly on the wrist! Hard to find this model, and Spring Drives under 39mm - unless you pay more for the newer models. Comes with 2 half-links. Fits wrist up to 7.5”. Sized for my 6.5” wrist.

I wear this mainly on leather & looks the part. Definitely looks classy on the strap.

Looks amazing in daylight, the indices catching the light always makes you stare. Only selling as I’ve bought another Spring Drive which I initially wanted but wasn’t available when I bought this long ago. Nevertheless, this has served me well, and will serve the new owner too! The craftsmanship here is amazing, and if it’s your first Grand Seiko, you won’t be disappointed.

Condition wise: glass is clean. There are normal hairline marks around the band and case, few nicks on the bezel which I tried to capture. Honestly, not noticeable unless under bright light or looking up close. There are few knocks on the inner bracelet, which doesn’t affect wearability, outer bracelet is all good.

Open to serious offers - it’s already at a great price for a Spring Drive.
