What I think would be a rare set of 5 Harold A Underhill / Bassett-Lowke plans dating from 1971 for an 1840 12 Gun Brig which come with the original cardboard mailing tube with Bassett-Lowke label etc.

Each sheet of plans measures 86cm by 64cm and are numbered / titled as follows:

777 Lines for Scale Model

778 General Arrangement

779 Sail & Rigging Plan

780 Details of Deck Fittings Boats & Armament Scale 1/4" to 1 Foot

781 Details of Masts & Spars Scale 1/4" to 1 Foot.

As shown the plans have been used and a couple of them have some red felt pen lines drawn to them, they all seem to have had the outer edges protected by a previous owner and a small sticker with their name and address has been placed to the top corner.

The plans do also have some general signs of handling and use such as general creasing and an occasional fold but all of this is in line with use and I think since then they have just sat stored away in the cardboard mailing tube which is included and which will be wrapped etc prior to posting.
