Good vintage, pre-owned condition. Signs of wear on various parts of the jacket (slight discolorations and small stains, especially on the lower front and lower part of the sleeves, and across the shoulders), but otherwise in good condition.

This garment is a vintage U.S. Army Green Service Uniform (Class A) jacket. This style of uniform was the primary service dress for the U.S. Army from 1954 until it was phased out in favor of the blue Army Service Uniform (ASU) around 2014.

The jacket is an olive-green coat featuring a four-button front with gold-tone eagle buttons, shoulder epaulets, and four front pockets (two pleated chest pockets and two lower flap pockets).

The jacket features two specialist rank patches (likely Specialist 4) one on each sleeve, indicated by the eagle within a curved border. It also features a vintage United States Army 1st Army Class A shoulder sleeve insignia patch. This patch represents the 1st Army, known as the oldest field army in the U.S. Army.

Size shown is 42XL.
