⏱ Update Frequency

This sensor uses a trigger-based reporting mechanism.

When temperature or humidity crosses the configured threshold, the sensor can report the change. Under normal conditions, data generally updates approximately once per hour.

Important: The sensor cannot manually set the reporting frequency.

If you require more frequent updates, the supplied product information recommends considering a USB-powered version such as TH06 / TH16.

⚙ Smart Automation

Temperature and humidity can be used as automation triggers within supported Tuya / Smart Life routines.

The supplied product information uses an Edge Triggered (ET) mechanism.

This means an automation action is triggered when the measured condition crosses the configured threshold rather than simply remaining above or below that threshold.

🔋 Battery Information

Required: 2 × LR03 / AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries.

Rechargeable 1.2V batteries are not recommended according to the supplied product information.

Do not mix different battery brands, battery types, or old and new batteries.

For better battery life, install the sensor where the wireless signal is reasonably strong.

Prolonged exposure to very low temperatures or very high humidity may also affect battery performance.

Historical temperature and humidity data is stored for up to 7 days according to the supplied specifications.

Minimum historical data granularity is approximately 1 hour.

Historical values represent average readings for the applicable time period.

🗣 Voice Assistant Information

Voice queries for current temperature and humidity are supported through compatible Alexa and Google Assistant setups.

Third-party smart speaker apps may not display the sensor's temperature and humidity controls in the same way as the Tuya / Smart Life APP.

The supplied information states that Yandex Alice is not supported.

⚠ Important Before Purchase

WiFi Version: Requires a compatible 2.4GHz WiFi network.

Zigbee Version: Requires a compatible Tuya Zigbee Hub. Other Zigbee hubs and Zigbee2MQTT are not supported according to the supplied product information.

Please select the correct protocol version before purchasing.

Temperature accuracy is approximately ±1°C and humidity accuracy is approximately ±5%RH. Readings within these tolerances are considered normal according to the supplied specifications.

Allow the sensor sufficient time to adapt to the surrounding room temperature after installation.
