The Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame & Museum was established on January 23, 1977, by the Aiken Jaycees to honor champion Thoroughbreds (flat and steeplechase) that trained in Aiken, SC. Located in the renovated 1902 carriage house of the Hopeland Gardens estate, it preserves the city’s rich winter training heritage and features memorabilia from over 40 inducted horses.
