The 6G1P-EV/ 6J1P-EV tube is a high-frequency, highly reliable pentode used for wideband voltage amplification. When used in triode mode, it's ideal for audio stages (microphone preamplifiers), where its second-grid control allows for adjustable overdrive/distortion for guitar amplifiers. It boasts high build quality and a 6.3V heater voltage. Its transconductance is approximately 5.15 mA/V. When used in triode mode, it offers higher gain, making it ideal for audio and high-frequency applications. 

Tubes are tested and selected using professional L3-3 vacuum tube equipment. The L3-3 is designed to measure the basic electrical parameters of vacuum tubes, as well as to record their static characteristics. The device can measure the parameters of receiver-amplifier and low-power generator tubes (with anode dissipation up to 25 W), kenotrons, diodes, and zener diodes.
