David Gilmour - "David Gilmour"
Columbia Records PC 35388 | 12" LP, Stereo, Gatefold
US REISSUE - Carrollton Plant (likely 1980s), Barcoded Cover
(Discogs: Release r32343717 - closest match, see notes)
The debut solo album from Pink Floyd's legendary guitarist, recorded during the downtime between "Animals" and "The Wall." Features the FM radio staple "There's No Way Out of Here" (a cover of the Unicorn song) and showcases Gilmour's signature guitar tone and melodic sensibilities.
This is a Carrollton, Georgia pressing identified by the "GA" plant code and "anna" engineer script in the Side A runout. The barcoded cover indicates this is a later reissue rather than a 1978 first pressing.

NOTE ON PRESSING VARIANT:
This copy's runouts partially match Discogs r32343717 (Carrollton Barry/Anna pressing). Side A has the "anna" engineer script as expected, but Side B lacks the "barry" script listed for that release - likely a mixed stamper variation. The barcode (7464-35388-1) and label style are consistent with a mid-1980s Carrollton reissue.
Condition:
- Vinyl: Near Mint (NM). Clean and shiny with minimal visible marks. Labels clean and intact. Visual grade.
- Cover: VG+ to EX. Iconic winter scene artwork displays well. Dark matte border shows typical light scuffing. Corner wear visible, particularly at spine corners with minor exposed cardboard. Spine legible with catalog number. Gatefold interior photo collage in excellent condition.
- Inner Sleeve: Very Good Plus (VG+). White paper sleeve, original to this pressing.
Ships with record outside sleeve to prevent seam splits, in a cardboard LP mailer.
