I bought the phone with a bloated depleted battery that had popped off the back plate, I have installed a NEW samsung galaxy s7 edge battery which is much better and has much higher capacity (please see pics of my work).  I have stuck on the back plate again avoiding the ribbon cables, but do not consider this waterproof anymore (it's slightly open on one side due to the s7 edge battery being 1mm thicker; this is normal for the battery mod) and it would be best to keep it in the battery pack / case which is also brand new which I provide in this listing also.  A good refurbed phone on a custom OS brought back to usefulness, with new battery condition.

Unofficial LineageOS 20 android 13 brings the phone up to date and back to usefulness, with up to date security patch.(you can see all details in images provided)

I am selling this with google services / play store included so it will be like you are used to, however some banking apps do not accept custom roms like santander and revolut, most will work however and if not you can still access bank in browser.
The phone is in very good condition minor marks and scratches, very acceptable.

The battery is a brand new s7 edge battery which I installed (see pics),  3600mAh, works good in a s6 whose regular battery is only 2550mAh, with this battery you get a whopping +1050mAh rated battery over the standard!
(+41.176% more capacity), lasts long + with the battery pack case even longer. 

You may request I test an app for you if you are genuinely interested in buying. (there shouldn't be issues, but if there is a workaround exists where you just install f-droid apk -> then in f-droid aurora store -> sign into your google account in that -> then install app through aurora store).
Phone comes ready to use not pin locked, you are free to factory reset and start again as you wish, it will be normal google setup process.

Being on android 13 and not the stock ROM of android 7 and outdated security patches will ensure use for years to come for general use.
