This is a true 1/1 knoll max Pearson office chair prototype. This item was acquired from the estate of a knoll employee, they worked at the knoll factory in east Greenville from the 60s to their retirement. Back in that era of knoll items such as this and other furniture were placed in the break room where employees were able to bid on the items via silent auction. This would’ve been a prototype of the iconic knoll office chair by designer Max pearson that was made before hitting the production line.

This is truly a one of a kind piece, knoll history.

The chair is in great condition, this was in the original owners attic wrapped in plastic since that era. The foam is still in amazing condition, absolutely no dry rot. No tears or rips in the fabric either. Please refer to all photos in regards to condtion and sizing.
