Guide to use

LInsert the red and black test leads into the 4mm banana head.

L Touch the red and black test pen tips to the two pins of the capacitor, regardless of the positive and negative poles.

L The voltmeter will display the residual voltage of the capacitor. When the voltage is around 10V, the LED display goes out. At this time, the test pen should continue to discharge for about 10 seconds until it is below 5V.

How to convert AC voltage to DC voltage.

L The voltmeter displays DC voltage. If it is AC voltage, it needs to be converted to DC voltage through simple calculations.

L AC voltage = voltage displayed on the voltmeter/0.9 (conversion factor is 0.9)

l For example: if the voltage on the voltmeter is 207V DC, the actual AC voltage is 207VDC/0.9=230VAC

How to use:

1. If used as a voltmeter, when measuring AC 230V voltage, the measurement time must not exceed 20s.

2. For safe use of the discharge device, it is recommended to use it in places with DC below 600V.

3. Before discharging the capacitor, please disconnect the 230V AC voltage.

4. If it is lower than 10V, the voltmeter will not display, but it can continue to discharge.

5. The energy in the capacitor shall not exceed 150J.
