Available for purchase is a vintage set of paper mache candy container ornaments depicting Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. These ornaments were made in Germany circa 1938, shortly after the release of Disney's classic animated movie. The ornaments have removeable heads (except for Snow White), with the bodies designed to hold candy or a small gift. The ornaments are made of papier mache with applied glitter. Four of the dwarfs once had white fur beards. Only the attachment strip and a few small patches of hair remain. A person could easily glue some white fur back on, if desired.

Snow White stands about 5 3/4" tall and the dwarfs measure about 5 1/2" tall (vary slightly). Each still has its original gold hanging string with a paper tag that reads "© W.D.P. Container" on one side and "Made in Germany" on the opposite side. Several dwarfs also have pipe cleaner neck ties. I purchased this ornament set at a recent estate sale. I do not have the original box.

Condition of these Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs candy container ornaments is EXCELLENT. Aside from missing the fur trim on their beards, they are in remarkably good shape with no breaks or cracks. The paint looks fantastic and there is minimal glitter loss. As I mentioned previously, all the hanging strings and paper labels are still attached. Overall, this set looks great and displays well. Please take a close look at the many photos I've provided and judge condition for yourself. I'm confident you'll be very pleased with this purchase.
