Offered here is a charming vintage set of eight molded composition Putz village houses made in Japan, from the same collection as our listed Railroad Set. Circa 1930s to 1940s.

These buildings were designed as additional or companion structures to expand a Christmas village display and feature hand-painted details, textured finishes, and open-back construction. The set includes a bank, school, railroad station, gas station, theater with handwritten sign, a telegraph/telephone-style building without roof label, a cottage-style house with blue roof, and a storefront-style building. Each piece displays beautifully and together forms a cohesive, classic village scene. Several houses show small, minor chips and paint flakes consistent with age. The railroad station windows are torn and the theater has a handwritten title The original box bottom is included; the lid is not present. A wonderful opportunity to enhance an existing vintage Putz village or begin a display with quality original pieces.

All eight houses are in very good vintage condition with strong color and well-preserved detail. Several pieces show small, minor chips and paint flakes consistent with age and careful display. No major cracks or structural damage noted. The theater has a handwritten sign, and two buildings are unmarked as made. The original box bottom is included; the lid is not present and shows age-related wear. Please review photos for full details.
