Near-complete original set of 17 out of 23 Carrefour promotional discs issued in Argentina for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
This lot includes many legendary players such as:
Aimar, Mascherano, Tévez, Riquelme, Maxi Rodríguez, Crespo, Saviola, and one of the greatest of all time — a very young Lionel Andrés Messi (Rookie era collectible).
These are original promotional Tazos/Pogs distributed by Carrefour Argentina, featuring player images on the front and biographical information in Spanish on the reverse.
💎 The Messi disc represents one of his earliest collectible appearances and is highly sought after by Argentina and Messi collectors worldwide.
Condition:
Very nice overall preservation for vintage promo pieces.
Please note: the Messi tazo shows small yellowish spots, which appear to be a rare printing issue from the factory, exactly as it came from the original packet and not from later damage.
This set comes directly from our personal collection and is becoming very hard to find today, especially in this quality.
