Capture the essence of the Indian spirit with these authentic Navajo Indian rug patterns. Although weaving in a rug is difficult to translate into other mediums, a textile craft such as counted cross stitch or needlecraft maintains the precision and the beauty of these Indian designs.
This book is a cross stitch / needlepoint book with 8 designs based on Navajo Rugs. Each design consists of a materials list, a small paragraph write up of the rug that inspired the design, a color photo of the design and a diagram of stitches. They can be worked in DMC Floss or 3 ply Wool on Aida fabric or needlepoint canvas.
Navajo Rugs in Cross-Stitch & Needlepoint has corner & edge wear and a sticker on the back. The pages have some writing in pen and one page has highlighting on it. Please see photos.
