Pin is in Mint Condition and comes with it's Original Box from H. Popper & Son New York. The American Theatre Wing was established in 1939 with the entry of the United States into the war, the Wing established "The Stage Door Canteen" to entertain American servicemen. The canteens were often manned by noted actors and entertainers. Canteens opened in New York, London and elsewhere. After the war, the organization concentrated on holding seminars about American theater, and on funding scholarship grants.
