Up for auction from a recent train collector estate auction is a 1980 Lionel Redwood Valley Express train set, as shown.  I am not a train guy but I will try to describe as best as I can. The set appears to have all or most of its parts along with the original box. There is a note on the front of the box from it's former owner that says the set is complete and that the engine runs smooth. I have pictured all parts contained in the box so hopefully you can tell if most or all parts are present. There are 2 exact same of the Lionel CTC Lockon pieces that are pictured. There are four pieces of straight track and four pieces of curved track (wrapped together). The engine looks clean as well as the four additional cars. Transformer included, paperwork and allot of assorted plastic parts. The original box measures 16 1/2" by 33" and is 3 1/4" deep. The contents including the box weighs 3 lbs 4 oz. Due to the size of the box the shipping charge is going to be quite high. If the potential buyer wishes to discard and eliminate the box the shipping cost is going to be reduced drastically.  I'm selling the train set as being personally untested but I'm always willing to stand behind any item I sell if a future buyer wishes to return because they are not happy with the purchase. Exact shipping charge quoted is for the set being shipped in it's original box.
