This is a double-branded Chronoswiss and Kelek (now acquired by Breitling) repeater watch. While Kelek solo-branded pieces or those bearing other distributor marks occasionally surface, double-branded Chronoswiss examples are quite rare.

Furthermore, retaining the instruction manual and inner box makes this an exceptionally valuable find.

The enamel dial has a translucent quality, and the gold hands shine elegantly.

However, the real selling point of this watch is its complex mechanism: the five-minute repeater.

Pressing the button at the 6 o'clock position causes the repeater to chime like a bell, sounding the number of hours plus the number of minutes.

(For example, at 10:07 as shown in the photo, the hour chime sounds 10 times with a “ding,” followed by a single minute chime with a “ding-ling.” At the highest count, 12:55 to 12:59, the hour chime sounds 12 times with a “ding,” followed by 11 minute chimes with a “ding-ling.”)

It has undergone a full overhaul (OH).

It currently functions flawlessly and is a reliable piece you can use with confidence.
