Statement two-piece plaid set featuring a sleeveless tailored vest and matching straight-leg trousers in a blue, black, and white plaid. This set has a sharp yet wearable silhouette with strong late 90s energy.
This set is likely 1980’s though, and it was handmade by a very talented local seamstress in the Dallas TX area, whose collection of handmade vintage clothing I was lucky to acquire. Her name was Jerry Skupa and there’s a cute little tag of hers on the inside of the vest.
It’s lined and has lace trim on the inside which makes everything feel more boutique and special.
•Two-piece matching set (vest + pants)
•Blue, black & white plaid pattern
•Tailored sleeveless vest with deep V front
•Cropped vest length
•Straight-leg trousers
•Mid to high rise pants
•Structured woven fabric
Perfect for indie sleaze, Y2K tailoring, dark academia, modern prep, or styled separately as wardrobe staples. Wear together for a bold statement or mix with basics for everyday looks.
A rare matching set with timeless appeal.
Very good vintage condition. A couple of small stains that aren’t particularly noticeable. I haven’t attempted to remove.
