This monograph represents the first attempt to summarize materials covering the dosimetric aspects of the 1986 cleanup effort at Unit 4: the organization and results of the liquidators' personal radiation monitoring in 1986, the quality of personal radiation monitoring, and biodosimetric methods for retrospectively reconstructing liquidators' doses. Special attention is given to the description of a simulation modeling method for the formation of radiation doses and a detailed analysis of the results obtained using it. Unlike biodosimetry, this method allows for obtaining a time-differentiated picture of radiation exposure, which served as the basis for preparing the monograph's material.
For scientists and practitioners involved in dosimetry, radiation protection and medicine, as well as specialists in sanitary and epidemiological services
