Because the stem of the 4.4 mm plug looked crooked-ish I straitened it as much as I dared and Flowed some silver solder on the joint to strengthen it.
Still a little crooked. If that sort of thing drive you crazy, please don't buy it.  (pic. 7 and 8 are of  before and after solder)
